The Block's report on June 25th revealed that ZKsync has launched the 'Elastic Chain' architecture as part of the ZKsync 3.0 roadmap. This upgrade will transform ZKsync from a single zero-knowledge (ZK) Rollup chain to a network of multiple interoperable ZK chains, aiming to enhance connectivity through improved cross-chain interoperability and a unified user experience. The project plans to operate over 20 chains on the mainnet by the end of 2024, using the ZK Stack software package for simplified multi-chain operations for users.
