On July 4, Mitsui Sumitomo Bank, a subsidiary of Mitsui Sumitomo Financial Group, announced the opening of a new business co-creation facility named "HOOPSLINK" in the Marunouchi Building in Chiyoda, Tokyo. This facility aims to address diverse and complex social issues through advanced technology and promote the rise of the Japanese economy.

Mitsui Sumitomo Bank stated that in the current environment, businesses must leverage emerging technologies such as generative AI, Web3, and cybersecurity to address various social challenges. HOOPSLINK will hold seminars and workshops on cutting-edge technologies and advance projects such as the commercialization of stablecoins and applications for augmented reality glasses.
