Golden Finance reports that Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, stated that the lawsuit against Galaxy Digital by the New York Attorney General (NAYG) is a "legal battle," while another crypto assets executive mentioned that the law is so unique that he had to consult ChatGPT.
The New York Attorney General (NAYG) recently filed a lawsuit against Galaxy Digital regarding its promotional relationship with the now-collapsed crypto asset Terra (LUNA), which is unfair and an abuse of the legal system, said SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci. "This is pure legal warfare, because of a little-known but extremely dangerous New York law—the Martin Act," Scaramucci stated on the X platform on March 28.
"This law does not require proof of intent, thus setting a very low standard of proof, which could open the door to such abuses. It should not exist at all," he said.
