According to the analysis by blockchain analyst Yu Jin, in the past hour, hackers of Orbit Chain transferred 4,000 ETH to a new address, and then laundered these ETH through Tornado cash. Orbit Chain lost assets worth $81.5M (stablecoins/WBTC/ETH) on January 1st due to hacking. The hackers exchanged some stablecoins and WBTC for 17,250 ETH at an average price of $2,301.
Finally, 26,750 ETH and 20 million DAI were stored in 8 wallets and only started to be moved 1 hour ago, because the hacker converted most of the stolen assets into ETH, which has seen a significant increase since the beginning of the year. These 26,750 ETH have appreciated by $37.45M compared to when they were stolen.
