The Crypto Assets market is a field full of challenges and opportunities, but it also comes with many potential risks. As a Zero-sum Game system, it is essentially a mechanism for wealth redistribution. In this complex ecosystem, exchanges play the role of platforms, and each emerging crypto asset can be seen as an independent investment venue.
Over time, the number of professionals truly proficient in cryptography and blockchain technology seems to be decreasing. In contrast, the market is flooded with various types of participants, including inexperienced retail investors, technical analysis experts, news-driven traders, arbitrageurs, market makers, large holders (commonly known as "whales"), long-term holders, project development teams, etc. Additionally, the transaction fees charged by the trading platforms must also be taken into account.
In such an environment, I personally believe that the vast majority (possibly up to 99%) of market participants may ultimately fail to achieve profitability. This is not a denial of individual capability, but rather stems from the market structure and the intensity of competition.
Nevertheless, I still welcome more people to join the world of Crypto Assets. Because only with enough participants can the entire ecosystem continue to operate, creating opportunities for a few successful ones. This seemingly contradictory attitude reflects the complexity and appeal of the Crypto Assets market.
For those interested in entering this field, it is crucial to deeply study and understand blockchain technology, market dynamics, and risk management. At the same time, maintaining a cautious and rational attitude and not investing more funds than one can afford to lose are principles that should be kept in mind when participating in the Crypto Assets market.
