The US House of Representatives will conduct procedural votes on three encryption-related bills, with the final vote expected to take place this week.
On July 15, FOX Business reporter Eleanor Terrett stated that according to House Majority Leader Steve Scalise's voting schedule released last night, the U.S. House of Representatives will hold a procedural vote this afternoon local time to establish the rules of debate for the GENIUS bill, the CLARITY bill, and the Anti-CBDC bill. These three bills were reviewed by the Rules Committee yesterday. A final vote is expected to take place tomorrow or Thursday. Note: This procedural vote is not a direct vote on the GENIUS, CLARITY, and Anti-CBDC bills themselves, but rather a decision on the process and rules for when these bills are formally debated and voted on in the House, known as the "rules of procedure" or "rule votes."
