According to Gate News bot, Decrypt reports that the cross-chain protocol WalletConnect has officially logged in its governance token WCT to the Solana network. The protocol plans to airdrop 5 million WCT tokens to active users on Solana.
Pedro Gomes, the founder of the WalletConnect Foundation, pointed out that the protocol is shifting from "Ethereum centralization" to "chain-agnostic protocol." He revealed that WalletConnect has been in deep collaboration with the Solana ecosystem for several months.
