Michael Bouhanna, Sotheby's vice president and co-head of digital art sales, said on social media that Sotheby's auction in 2023 will approach $35 million in sales, launching a fully on-chain secondary marketplace to collect royalties from creators. For the first time, we held a dedicated live auction with a turnover of $12 million. The highest price ever paid for a digital art auction in 2023: Dmitri Cherniak's Ringers #879 (The Goose) sold for $6.2 million. More than 25 auctions were held, focusing exclusively on digital art or including it in contemporary art auctions. Launch of Gen Art Sothebys, a new generative art project. A new attempt in the fascinating world of ordinal numbers.

In the coming year, we'll focus on supporting creators and strengthening their key market strategies. More updates are coming soon.
