It is stated that investigators and lawyers of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) have prepared a file alleging that cryptocurrency company Celsius and its CEO, Alex Mashinsky, violated US laws. According to the information received from Bloomberg, the investigators allege that Celsius should have registered with the CFTC and that it did not do so and provided misleading information to its investors, according to the unofficial file.

It is also stated that the report will be presented to the CFTC commissioners and if the members accept the report, the company and Mashinsky can be sued at the federal level. Celsius and Mashinsky have not made any comments on the matter so far. The developments of the situation are being followed.
