#美7月PPI年率高于预期#

PPI has exploded again, Federal Reserve: Rate cut? Not happening!
July's PPI exceeded expectations, and the market instantly caught a whiff of "spicy inflation." Investors originally fantasized about an interest rate cut in September, but now they can only watch the bubble burst.
Don't underestimate PPI; it is the front line of inflation. When production prices rise and transmit to consumption, it’s like a domino effect. The Fed cutting rates at this time? That’s not called liquidity injection; that’s pouring gasoline on a fire.
For the stock market, this means increased valuation pressure; for the bond market, while the expectation for rate hikes may not be reignited, high rates will persist longer; and for the crypto market? Heh, people in the crypto space only recognize two types of markets—up or waiting for it to go up. No matter how high the PPI, it can't stop speculation.
In summary: The Fed's magic trick of rate cuts needs to stay in the fridge for now; the "dessert" investors want is likely to be served next year.
