[Coin World] On August 13, the Qubic team announced that its recent experiments tested the PoW protocol. With the founder's experience and its unique architecture, the team is one of the few projects capable of completing such experiments. Qubic emphasized that the experiment did not harm the Monero network, reverse transactions, or affect prices. The team stated that this experience will enhance the resilience of the Monero network and increase awareness of potential risks in the crypto assets field. This impact is temporary and aims to promote the development of the entire industry. Previously, Monero faced attempts of network takeover by the Qubic Mining Pool, which triggered strong opposition from the community. Some even claimed that the Qubic Mining Pool seems to have successfully launched a 51% attack on Monero, theoretically allowing it to rewrite transactions.
