"Brothers, stop rolling out those half-baked chains, let's get something truly useful!"
At first, I thought he was bragging about the private placement he invested in, but then he showed a screenshot of his wallet—dozens of transactions, all confirmed in seconds, and the fees were ridiculously cheap.
I'm curious to ask: which chain?
He laughed and said, "What test chain are you still playing with? I've moved to @arbitrum."
I thought to myself, isn't this just a layer two on Ethereum? How much difference could it make? But after trying it out, I was really impressed:
So fast that you start to question life.
The transaction fees are as low as if they were given for free.
It also inherits the security of Ethereum, so there are basically no concerns.
Its ecosystem is ridiculously large:
500+ dApps, Uniswap, Aave, GMX are all launched here. DeFi is not just a slogan; it has real users and real transactions.
Developers can migrate with almost zero learning cost, and EVM compatibility is the main benefit.
The most outstanding aspect is the user experience —
No chain cutting, no block waiting, no being fleeced; once the wallet is opened, it can start working. This is the Web3 I desire.
Later I found out that in addition to the mainnet Arbitrum One, there is also Arbitrum Nova specifically for gaming and social use, with transaction fees low enough to be used freely.
I just wanted to test it out, but now most of my on-chain operations have moved to Arbitrum.
——There's nothing much to debate, it's currently the strongest chain in L2.
