Asseto launches AoABT to implement funding rate Arbitrage strategy on public chain platform

In May 2025, the core fund product AoABT under the new physical asset platform Asseto officially launched on a certain public blockchain platform. This marks the first time that funding rate arbitrage strategies are made available to professional investors in blockchain form, promoting the deep integration of traditional financial strategies with blockchain technology.

The underlying strategy of AoABT is managed by an experienced crypto trading team, with a subsidiary of a securities company in Hong Kong acting as an advisor. This strategy adopts a long-short hedge structure to capture funding rates and price difference opportunities between exchanges while avoiding market volatility. Over the past five years, the strategy has achieved an annualized return of 20%, with a maximum drawdown of no more than 1%, and currently manages over $500 million in assets.

The minimum investment for the newly launched AoABT version is $100,000 or equivalent USDT, offering various yield share options. This strategy provides a unified entry point for external on-chain users for the first time, establishing a technical and compliance channel between traditional assets and the crypto ecosystem. The smart contract supports functions such as subscription, redemption, and asset mapping, significantly improving user participation efficiency and the transparency of capital circulation.

The Asseto team members come from internationally renowned financial institutions and have established strategic partnerships with multiple organizations. The platform is committed to providing on-chain solutions for real assets while opening up off-chain asset allocation channels to build a bidirectional circulation asset network.

A certain public chain platform is striving to create a reliable and scalable application environment for real-world assets as a high-performance infrastructure. This cooperation is an important step towards the structured development of high-quality asset infrastructure on-chain, and it also provides a new on-chain configuration model for institutional-level funding.

With the official deployment of AoABT, Asseto plans to further promote the on-chain development of money market funds, BTC arbitrage, and diversified strategy products, exploring paths for integration with DeFi protocols. They aim to build a composable, low-threshold, and highly transparent on-chain wealth management system on this public chain, injecting more replicable and scalable asset types into the real asset sector.
