According to Decrypt, South Korean blockchain company DaWinKS has partnered with the Kaia DLT Foundation to launch a stablecoin ATM that supports USDT cash withdrawals, which has been rolled out at various tourism and retail locations in South Korea. This ATM supports USDT issued on the Kaia on-chain, and is only available for users holding foreign passports, allowing exchanges for 85 types of fiat or deposits to local transportation cards. The project is currently operating under the Regulatory Sandbox framework, and local residents in South Korea are temporarily unable to use it.
