Avalanche's technical architecture attracts multiple well-known projects to launch dedicated chains

Recently, some well-known projects have chosen to launch or plan to launch dedicated chains based on Avalanche technology architecture, attracting attention from the industry. The reasons behind this trend are worth exploring in depth.

Avalanche9000, as the largest upgrade in the history of the network, can be regarded as the "merger" of Avalanche, completely restructuring the validator economic model. Through the ACP-77 proposal, the high fixed staking cost requirement for Avalanche validator nodes has been replaced by a low-threshold pay-as-you-go model.

Analysts from a certain research institution have evaluated data showing that the reduced upfront costs make launching a sovereign Avalanche L1 chain highly attractive, with costs potentially lower than other mainstream solutions. Moreover, the team creating the Avalanche layer one chain can leverage the existing infrastructure built on the C chain, further saving costs.

A senior executive of a blockchain company stated in an interview that from the perspective of entering the market, this can save the development team a significant amount of time and millions of dollars in integration costs. For most standard on-chain infrastructure, if built from scratch by an independent L1, the startup costs could be as high as $13 million.

The Avalanche inter-chain communication protocol enables its layer one network to conveniently transfer assets between the C chain and other chains, fully leveraging various functional advantages. Currently, the connection between the C chain and a dedicated game chain has become one of the most active two-way communication routes.

The value capture mechanism is another major reason for choosing the Avalanche layer one network. Avalanche's layer one blockchain can establish clear value accumulation channels for its native tokens by guiding its own set of validators, distributing block rewards, and other means. In contrast, Ethereum's layer two networks have certain limitations in this regard.

In addition, Avalanche's HyperSDK supports a high degree of L1 chain customization, which demonstrates significant advantages compared to the current L2 solutions based on rollup technology stack.

In terms of value accumulation, Avalanche has adopted various measures. First, 100% of all transaction fees on the C chain will be burned, with the average monthly burn value of AVAX tokens around $453,000 in 2025. Secondly, validating nodes continue to stake AVAX to maintain the operation of the main network, with the current staked amount being approximately $8 billion. Third, each Avalanche L1 validating node is required to pay a small amount of AVAX as a fee each month.

Avalanche's business strategy is to subsidize long-term growth by reducing upfront investment. This strategy is similar to that of Ethereum and other blockchain projects, all aimed at pursuing long-term development.

A senior executive stated that the claim about Avalanche not pursuing high-speed chains is not true. Through the implementation of multiple upgrade plans, the overall fees on the C chain have decreased by 96%. In the future, as more improvement plans are implemented, fees will continue to decrease.

Although Avalanche's value capture has not yet reached significant scale, its development path has become clear. With 66 active L1 chains continuously operating within the ecosystem and more chains being integrated, Avalanche is fully equipped to leverage its own network effect.
