I was fortunate enough to have an interview for a maintenance position at ByteDance, which really showed me ByteDance's dedication to technical details. From the principles of the LINUX kernel to root cause analysis of failures, it felt like they wanted to sift through all the technical details in my mind!

Perhaps it is precisely because of their dedication to technology that they have created a ByteDance that punches Tencent and kicks Alibaba!
Of course, as an interviewer, my perspective may not be very comprehensive, but big players like Tencent, Alibaba, and JD have all expressed admiration and recognition for their technical capabilities and algorithms in public.

BytePlus plans to open access to its large language model DeepSeek through standardized APIs for Mind Network, which will use its FHE technology to encrypt the entire AI inference process, from input to output, ensuring that every parameter and every intermediate process is completed in an encrypted environment. This means that even if you make a request to the model, the model still "cannot see" your original data, yet it can still perform calculations, and the results are trustworthy. This is the magic of FHE: data is never decrypted, yet the results remain accurate and usable.

More importantly, this cooperation goes beyond just the "cloud" computing platform. Mind Network has integrated its Model Context Protocol (MCP) module into the Lark ecosystem, and it is expected to serve Lark's current user base of over 40 million in the future.
For Web3 projects, this is simply a historic breakthrough in "Web2 scenario introduction". (This reminds me of a certain two platforms that were hilariously hacked by scientists during the new launch.)
In the past, we have been envisioning how "Web2 can be transformed by Web3", but Mind Network has directly integrated privacy computing, on-chain verification, and cross-platform secure collaboration to genuinely include Feishu users into the realm of trusted AI. In the future, you may call an AI agent on Feishu to process your data, and that data does not need to be "seen" by any platform, yet you will still receive the processed results, all of which can be verified on-chain.

Another highlight of this collaboration is the technical integration with the Coze AI Agent platform launched by ByteDance. Coze is a low-threshold AI application building platform that allows users to create AI Agents without writing code, while Mind Network provides plugin-level MCP tools that enable these Agents to have "privacy protection" and "on-chain trustworthiness" capabilities.
A typical application scenario is: you have built an AI Agent using Coze to help you manage your financial planning, where the inputs may include sensitive data such as your salary, investments, and spending habits. With the FHE and on-chain verification tools of the Mind Network, this data remains encrypted even when sent to the AI model, which means the AI cannot "see" the real content of your data, yet it can still produce results. Furthermore, the results provided by this Agent can also be verified on-chain, avoiding issues of black box operations, forgery, and lack of auditability.

To be honest, my first reaction upon seeing this collaboration news was "Byte finally recognizes the value of Web3."
But upon further reflection, what is even more noteworthy is that Mind Network, as a Web3 project, not only does not engage in "anti-Web2" or "decentralization fundamentalism," but rather utilizes the most hardcore technology to solidly embed capabilities such as cryptographic computation and privacy protection into the infrastructure of Web2, achieving true integration instead of opposition.
You can say it is a breakout experiment for Web3, or you can say it is an upgrade of privacy for Web2, and both would not be an exaggeration.
This time, they are not telling an ideal future story, but have really delivered a set of practical capabilities, a solution recognized by ByteDance that can support a real user volume. FHE is no longer a "high-end technology in academic papers"; it is no longer research in an ivory tower — it is a complete set of service components that can be implemented, serve, and can be directly integrated into Coze and Lark.
Mind Network is the "nail household" that truly embeds Web3 technology into the Web2 ecosystem, and this collaboration may serve as a bridge of privacy and trust between Web2 and Web3.
