In April 2025, the monthly revenue of the DePIN sector in the Solana ecosystem reached $458,000, a year-on-year increase of 33%, setting the highest level this year. This growth was mainly attributed to the stable development of several major projects.

However, the number of active contributors to the DePIN protocol has slightly decreased, with the major projects maintaining a total of around 87,000 active contributors. It is worth noting that the number of contributors to smaller DePIN protocols has significantly increased, with some projects experiencing growth rates exceeding 100%, while the number of contributors to larger protocols has remained stable or slightly decreased.

As a DePIN project exclusive to the Indian market, Dabba Network collaborates with local cable operators to deploy Wi-Fi hotspots that provide high-speed, low-cost internet services. From March to April, its cumulative data consumption doubled to 8000 TB, and device sales increased by 29%.

Helium Mobile

As a mobile virtual network operator, Helium Mobile saw a 125% increase in new subscription users after launching its free mobile plan, reaching 36,000 users. Monthly revenue reached a new high of $250,000, with a data offloading rate of 79%. The average daily offloading subscription volume and data volume increased by 65% and 32% respectively, both setting new records.

It is worth mentioning that the number of active contributors to Helium has slightly decreased since 2025 and is currently stabilizing at around 75,000.

XNET

This decentralized mobile network continued to maintain its growth momentum in April. The average daily data offload increased by 16%, marking a steady rise for eight consecutive months. Despite a 6% decrease in rewards, active contributors still grew by 6%, reaching a historical high of 732 people.
