U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Martin Glenn for the Southern District of New York ruled that the bankrupt encryption lending platform Celsius can proceed with its $4 billion lawsuit against stablecoin issuer Tether. Celsius accuses Tether of prematurely liquidating its 39,500 Bitcoins held as collateral for loans in 2022, violating the contract's terms regarding a 10-hour waiting period. Tether's actions were aimed at recovering a $812 million debt. (Decrypt)
