Musk and Trump are at odds, with electric vehicle subsidies becoming the focal point.

On July 1, during a response to Trump's comments about the government efficiency department needing to focus on subsidies, Musk said: "Cut everything, now."

Previously reported, U.S. President Trump stated that Musk knew I strongly opposed the electric vehicle mandate long before he strongly supported my presidential campaign. So far, Elon may have received more subsidies than anyone in history, and without these subsidies, he might have to close his stores and return to South Africa. Perhaps the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) should thoroughly examine the subsidies received by Musk and his companies.
