#TURBO# Why do many wealthy people continue to work hard even after they have money?
To make this question a bit more absolute, do wealthy people work harder? Or do those without money work harder? Now, to rephrase the question, is the hard work of those without money proactive or reactive? Is the hard work of wealthy people proactive or reactive?
The difference between the two lies in "active effort" and "passive effort". Active effort broadens one’s horizons, which can be understood in a worldly sense as "expanding your desires". It allows us to see a bigger world and makes you have more things you want to do.
Working after success is proactive work, while working only when we are out of money is reactive work. So you will find that as long as you have a "proactive effort" mindset at work, you don't need to worry about anything else because you are already on the right track. As long as you keep running on the track, even if you run slower than a turtle, you can still reach the finish line.
Whenever you take the initiative to work hard, your efficiency is much higher than when you are passive. If the direction is correct, your speed of success will double, and then you will have nothing to worry about. Too many people lack the mindset of "initiative" in their efforts; they only work hard for survival/living, and start to strive to earn money/work only when they are on the brink of desperation. This is passive effort, and it can be troublesome because at that time, it will be more difficult for you to experience the motivation that effort brings.
So when you actively put in effort and taste the sweetness of success, and when your horizons broaden, you will have countless things you want to do. You will suddenly realize that your motivation to work cannot be extinguished. There are many factors pushing you forward, such as curiosity, the desire for conquest, and a sense of achievement. These factors cannot be suppressed in your heart, which is also one of the reasons why wealthy people continue to get wealthier.
