Houthis: The "ban on maritime shipping" in the Red Sea will include American ships

On March 17, Yemen's Houthi spokesman Yahya Sareya said that the "maritime shipping ban" in the Red Sea would include U.S. ships. Yahya Saraya warned that the group would "not hesitate" to launch attacks against all US warships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, and would continue to impose a naval blockade of Israel in established areas of operation (the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait) until humanitarian assistance is received in the Gaza Strip.
