On February 19, the Jinshi data reported that Han Dezhou, the Prime Minister of South Korea, attended the first impeachment trial at the Constitutional Court. Before the court session, he expressed his position through a group of agents, stating that he would participate in the trial humbly and honestly. Han Dezhou's agent and lawyer, Park Qixiong, told the media when entering the court that they would argue in court that the statutory basis followed by the parliament in passing the impeachment case does not comply with legal provisions and refute each impeachment reason. The parliament stated that we believe the grounds for impeachment are legitimate and will be elaborated in court. On December 27 last year, the impeachment case of Han Dezhou, who temporarily exercised the presidential power as the acting president, was passed in the parliament. The impeachment of the acting president by the parliament is the first in the constitutional history of South Korea.
