Fitch: Fed to Maintain Wait-and-See Stance

On January 30, Jinshi data, Federal Reserve Chairman Powell, after deciding to keep the Intrerest Rate unchanged, opened the question and answer session. He said that there is no rush to adjust the policy, and the 2% inflation target will remain unchanged. Fitch analyst Olu Sonola wrote: "Maintaining the Intrerest Rate may be the easiest decision for the Fed to make this year. Inflation and inflation expectations should not be taken for granted. A Fed that advocates reliance on data will not be willing to keep up with the constantly changing policies. It looks more like a Fed that is waiting and seeing."
