Odaily Planet Daily News According to Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton of the United States, she has approved Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and the SEC's request to seal certain court documents. As the case progresses, both parties can now keep sensitive information confidential. The sealed documents include key evidence related to summary judgment and expert testimony, which are crucial to the case. The court made the judgment based on the Ninth Circuit's "compelling reasons" rule. Ripple seeks to seal 8 exhibits related to the summary judgment motion and 56 exhibits opposing the SEC's motion. Meanwhile, the SEC seeks to seal some of its exhibits, including expert testimony.
