UBS: The latest view is that the Fed will cut interest rates by 100 basis points before the end of the year

Odaily Planet Daily News According to UBS Global Wealth Management, the pound against the US dollar GBP/USD may strengthen in the remaining time of this year, as the Fed's interest rate cut may exceed that of the Central Bank of England. UBS analysts said in a report: "Our latest view is that the Fed will cut interest rates by 100 basis points before the end of the year, while the Central Bank of England will only cut interest rates by 50 basis points during the same period, so fixed income investment flows will increasingly favor the pound/dollar to rise." They said the pound/dollar may rise to 1.30 by the end of the year. (FX168)
