CoinRank Crypto Digest (7/28)|ZK Project Succinct Establishes Foundation to Support Prover Network

Ethereum NFT sales hit $157.6M in 7 days, led by CryptoPunks, driven by blue-chip demand and cultural meme interest.

Succinct launched its foundation ahead of its TGE, aiming to support ZK infrastructure and strengthen its modular proof network.

Divine Research issued 30K+ unsecured crypto loans using World ID to ensure borrower uniqueness and boost decentralized credit systems.

ETHEREUM NFT SALES SURGE TO $158M IN 7 DAYS, CRYPTOPUNKS LEAD THE MARKET

According to CryptoSlam data, Ethereum-based NFT sales reached $157.6 million over the past seven days as of July 27, signaling a notable resurgence in market activity. CryptoPunks led the pack with $35.14 million in volume across 172 transactions. Pudgy Penguins and BAYC followed with $8.36 million and $5.86 million, respectively. Moonbirds also saw strong activity, recording $4.72 million in sales from 683 trades, suggesting increased liquidity in mid-tier collections.

This surge is driven by two major forces: renewed high-value purchases in blue-chip collections like CryptoPunks, and growing interest in meme culture NFTs that reinforce their appeal as cultural assets. Ethereum’s recent price rebound has also boosted market sentiment and brought fresh capital into the NFT space. Projects like Pudgy Penguins and Moonbirds have benefited from strategic brand partnerships and offline activations, which have fueled user engagement and created positive feedback loops within their ecosystems.

ZK PROJECT SUCCINCT LAUNCHES FOUNDATION, TGE EXPECTED SOON

Decentralized prover network Succinct has launched the Succinct Foundation, signaling early preparation for an upcoming Token Generation Event (TGE). The foundation will serve as an independent entity focused on advancing Succinct’s Prover Network and zero-knowledge (ZK) infrastructure. Its mission includes ecosystem grants, R&D funding, and protocol collaborations to support the next wave of ZK developers.

The Succinct Prover Network aims to coordinate distributed provers to deliver efficient ZK proof services for various use cases. Its native token, PROVE, will be used for prover incentives, service payments, and network governance. The launch of the foundation suggests Succinct is entering the final pre-launch phase for its token economy.

In the increasingly competitive ZK space, this move strengthens its positioning as a modular infrastructure layer—particularly in cross-chain interoperability and lightweight proof systems.

DIVINE RESEARCH ISSUES UNSECURED CRYPTO LOANS USING WORLD ID FOR SYBIL RESISTANCE

San Francisco-based lending firm Divine Research has issued over 30,000 short-term unsecured crypto loans since December 2023—without requiring traditional collateral. To prevent Sybil attacks and abuse from multi-account borrowers, the platform now uses World ID, a decentralized identity system based on iris scans, to verify the uniqueness of each borrower.

This integration highlights the growing convergence of on-chain identity and unsecured lending in Web3 finance. By incorporating biometric-based verification through World ID, Divine improves credit risk controls while laying the groundwork for a decentralized credit scoring system.

In a sector long hampered by trust issues and regulatory constraints, such “collateral-free + strong identity” lending models could unlock a new phase of scalable, compliant crypto credit infrastructure.
