Techub News reports that the Eigen Foundation has announced its community funding strategy for 2025, which will allocate 40 million EIGEN Tokens and distribute funds quarterly to promote the development of the ecosystem. The incentive funds are intended for two grant programs: open innovation grants and strategic grants. Open innovation grants are smaller allocations aimed at developers and founders driving the early development of the ecosystem. Strategic grants are larger amounts intended to provide targeted funding to high-quality teams driving long-term value and applications.
To ensure that funds are deployed to these programs in a responsible manner, the foundation has established a Grant Oversight Committee. At the end of each quarter, the foundation's grant team prepares a transparency report, which the committee will verify to ensure that all grants are consistent with the annual plan and are deployed in a responsible and diligent manner.
