Sources say that the Israeli side has proposed new conditions for the ceasefire protocol in Gaza.

On April 1, Jin10 reported that the Israeli military radio quoted a senior official on the 31st local time, stating that Israel has proposed new conditions for a ceasefire agreement in Gaza and is waiting for a response from the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). The report states that Israel proposed a ceasefire period of 40 days, while requiring Hamas to release 11 Israeli captives on the first day of the ceasefire, provide detailed information on the remaining captives on the fifth day of the ceasefire, and return the bodies of 16 deceased captives on the tenth day of the ceasefire. During this period, both sides will negotiate the next phase. Israeli media reported that Israel is willing to discuss substantive issues regarding the ceasefire but insists on several key conditions, including maintaining a security buffer zone, disarming Hamas, and implementing reliable security arrangements.
