According to Gate.io news, the amount of supply held by Litecoin's ($LTC) mega whale addresses is at its highest point since June 2017. Statistically, Whale addresses holding 1 million or more $LTC coins have accumulated 2.95 million LTC over the last five weeks, totaling $219.6 million LTC, according to data from santimentfeed.
Litecoin is widely considered as the first alternative cryptocurrency and nicknamed digital silver or “the silver to Bitcoin's gold,”. Although, the impact of Litecoin's whales accumulation is not yet reflected on the price as the altcoin is rather dipping from $78.43 to $73.56 seen on Gate.io exchange this morning.
